I’ve been a fan of Hollwood Holt‘s music for a few years now and it’s been a while since he’s released any solo material, so I’ve been pretty excited seeing him appear on a lot of guest features here and there. Not too sure how “new” Fall Back is since Roofeo featured the track on his Call It What You Want mixtape back in April. Either way both tracks GO HAAAAARD and are easily two of my favorite recent releases from the underrated Chicago MC.

I was looking forward to the release of Donnis’ Fashionanly Late mixtape this past monday, but it was delayed yet again. It was originally planned to be released March 30th, along side Ski Beatz‘s equally heavily anticipated mixtape 24 Hour Karate School, but neither one came out. Eventually Ski Beatz released the Where is 24 Hour Karate School? promo with a tentative release date of “Coming Soon?!”. While sadly Fashionably Late was pushed back again leading me to rant (lol).

Seeing that he isn’t happy about the mixtape being delayed himself, it’s only a reminder that when things like this happen it isn’t always the artist at fault. Anyway.. If you aren’t too familiar with the Atlanta rapper recently signed to A-Trak & Nick Catchdubs‘ Fool’s Gold, it’s time to start pre-gaming for his upcoming mixtape. Donnis has had tracks produced by Million$Mano, DJ Benzi, and The J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League to name a few. Last November his 2007 Backseat was featured on Santa Inoue’s SANTASTIC! MIX CD compillation.
