One of my top 5 dubstep releases from earlier this year, recently received visuals to go along side it. Doctor P is a monster when it comes to dubstep remixes and originals.
Scion A/V Remix series is releasing a compilation from one the biggest disco artist you’ve never heard of; Mobroder. Mobroder is actually Spank Rock, DJ Hoff, and Blu Jemz‘s imagining of the most successful disco star from the “‘70s searching for his soul in an ‘80s Miami”. I missed their debut show/video recording this past winter (my train from DC to Bmore was canceled at the last minute!), so it’s great to see they’re releasing music available to everyone.

Today I got a bday gift a week early in the mail from a friend back home.
While in MA, a friend of mine stopped by Boston Bodega (aka the dopest bodega on the east coast. see for yourself) and picked up a five panel. And just when I was starting to get bummed out knowing the only place in to find Frank was 2hrs away (!), she also grabbed me a copy of the limited 151 Pieces collab between Frank151 & Scion. Yesterday evening UPS came by and I received a hard copy of Scion CD Sampler v.29: Plant Music. It’s the latest Scion Sampler with music by Plant Music label.
It’s a great 12-track compilation of dance music by Tittsworth, Will Eastman, Eli Escobar and a many other Plant Music artist including a guest feature by Ninjasonik. Grab it for free on Plant Music here.
